The Rainforest Habitat had three schools in Lae city join them in commemorating the World Wildlife Day which falls on March 3 every year.

The International School of Lae, Salvation Army Primary and Lae Secondary School got together to learn more about the wildlife and how they can help to protect and conserve the wildlife.

The theme for this year is “Listen to the Young Voice”.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Albert Schram and wife Paulina were also there to talk to these youngsters about being good ambassadors, protect the wildlife and care for the environment.

The day started off with students from TISOL singing a song, speeches from the VC and his wife and then a zoo tour where they got to see some new species of animals and the famous “Agro”. They also did other activities like drawing their favorite animals, questions and riddles.

Laga Industries was the proud sponsor of the event giving each student an ice cream after all the day’s fun activities.
