Application for admission in Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership  
  
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission in the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MAOL) in the Department of Communication and Development Studies for the 2019 academic year.   
 
The Papua New Guinea University of Technology in partnership with Development Associates International (DAI) and Christian Leaders Training College (CLTC) offers the Masters in Organizational Leadership (MAOL).  The aim of this program is to provide training and education that focuses on specific needs and issues facing Christian leaders, and organizational leaders in PNG and other developing countries. The program runs through distance education (blended learning) and it is for 3 years. The students come to the campus for a week twice a year for residency.  
 
The following courses are offered: leadership – making human strength productive; teaching and learning for impact; strategic  thinking; women in leadership; integrity and financial management; research methodology; spiritual formation; conflict  management and resolution; ethics for decision making; development and social change; mentoring; culture, ethnicity and  diversity; fundraising; partnership and dissertation.  
 
Entry Requirements 
 
DAI pre-requisites for student eligibility are: 
  a.    Applicants with a clear evidence of leadership practices in churches, or other
         organizations.  
  b.   Three to five years of leadership experiences in a work, or ministry context. 
  c.   High achievement in 12th Grade English with a minimum of Bachelors’ Degree in
        any academic field as demonstrating readiness for MA level academic work. 
 
In accordance with UNITECH’s rules governing the Master’s program, an application for admission to candidature in this program shall have: 
   a.    A Postgraduate Diploma of the University or of a tertiary institution approved by the Higher
          Degrees Committee; or  
   b.    A Bachelor’s Degrees of the University or of a tertiary institution approved by the Higher
          Degrees Committee in any field of study; or. 
   c.    In both (a) and (b) above, the candidate must have the potential to provide significant
          leadership in their organizations or communities. 
 
Get your application forms from the PNG University of Technology Admissions Office, and lodge in your application along with a CV, copy of degree papers, academic transcripts, and at least two references by 30th September 2018 to:
