UNITECH Development Consultancy (UDC)

The mission of UDC Ltd is to offer the best professional advisory service using university expertise for research and technical assitance to government, international agencies, commerce, industry, and the wider community. The Company offers consultancies and short courses through Academic Departments of the University and related external counterparts. Other commercial service units of the company include UAL Architects Limited, the Rainforest Habitat (Lae), Insect Farming & Trading Agency (Bulolo), Management Development Centre and PNG National Analysis Laboratory (NAL).

The University’s commercial arms,Unitech Consultancy & Development Ltd (UDC) and Unitech Architects Limited (UAL) provide a wide range of consultancy and technical services. By entering into partnership with donor agencies such as AusAID, JICA, ACIAR,the UDC and UAL provide expert consultancies to corporate partners,government departments and statutory bodies, and provincial and local-level government councils.

Unitech Farm

 

The Farm is located in the Taraka Campus of the Papua New Guinea University of Technology (PNG UniTech), and is about 10-15 minutes drive from the Lae city. The Farm occupies 39 ha of developed land for teaching, research and demonstration work by the students and the academics. It was established in the early 1980s when the Agriculture Faculty was moved from the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) in Port Moresby, to PNG UniTech.Read more...
