About Undergraduate Admissions
School Leavers
These are current grade 12 students who wish to apply to the PNG University of Technology can apply through the DHERST National Online Selection System.
All School leavers will apply through the DHERST National Online Selection System and only the successful candidates will be selected to enroll at the University, based on your academic performance.
International Students
The University welcomes students from the neighboring Pacific Island countries as well to study for the undergraduate programs.
The University welcomes about 100 students each year depending on the availability of spaces.
The University will evaluate their qualifications in terms of those attainable in Papua New Guinea and will admit accordingly.
Most international undergraduate students come from Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and few other Pacific Island countries.
Non-School Leavers
These are for intending non-school leavers who wish to apply to the PNG University of Technology, are required to apply online through the online portal which opens around June every year.
All Non-School leavers applications received will be screened and only successful candidates will be short-listed to sit the NSL Entrance Exam. Acceptance and admissions into your preferred program of study will depend entirely on your academic performance and availability of spaces.
