The ALUMNI was launched in April, 2011 to productively engage former graduates and friends in the development and sustenance of the university into the future.

To be held in high esteem as the premier Alumni program in the South Pacific. This can be earned through the success of our programs in helping to promote our university as the leading science and technological university in Papua New Guinea and the South Pacific.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our members will network, inspire, engage and promote opportunities for our alumni, our students and our university”.

This will be earned through the success of our programs in helping to promote our university as the leading science and technological university in Papua New Guinea and the Region.

As such our objectives are to:

1. Promote the Academic Development and Professional Pursuits of our Members;
2. Forster Networking between the Association and the Business Communities;
3. Promote Collegial Support for the University through Alumni Activities and Programs;
4. Publish Papers, Journals, Newsletters and other Materials for the above objectives.

ALUMNI office

The ALUMNI office serves the needs of the University’s Alumni and Friends Community. Some of the activities we undertake include organizing events, creating and maintaining alumni benefits, and communicating with alumni online, via email and print.

Location

The Alumni Office is located in the Public Relations office at the Administration building of the University of Technology.
