Short Courses on
“SIMPLE AND ADVANCED LABORATORY TECHNIQUES IN CHEMISTRY”
It’s always challenging to work in chemistry field and this is mainly due to the vastness of the subject. Chemistry lies as a basic subject for many technology-related fields like engineering and medicine. Chemistry always involves synthesis, characterization, properties, reactions and analysis. Chemistry has many techniques to its credit which are very useful for reaping the benefits, and they are practiced as a day-to-day activity in any chemistry-related area. A successful chemist should be well versed in such techniques. This short course gives a chance to learn more on the topic, and for the benefit of the participants, the course is divided into two parts: level 1 (simple) and level 2 (advanced). The course covers topics from simple techniques largely followed in any chemistry laboratory to some advanced techniques which are application specific. The objectives of this series of short courses are to introduce and explain various types of techniques widely employed in analytical, inorganic and organic chemistry, for both synthesizing and characterizing various compounds of interest.
