Apprenticeship Extension Course

Our extension course is designed for apprentices in their second and final years of training. It is a 16-week, full-time, on-campus advanced program. The National Apprenticeship Trade Testing Board, Department of Industrial Labour & Employment, certifies the training. The first block of training lasts 8 weeks for second-year apprentices, followed by another 8 weeks for final-year apprentices. The National Apprenticeship Board upon successful completion of both blocks’ awards certification.

    To be eligible for entry, applicants must meet the following criteria.

    • Completion of the DWPM Course Program
    • Current attachment to a Timber Industry Company
