The Department offers Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy in both the Applied Chemistry and Food Technology programs.

Recently we have had a lot of interest in our MPhil and PhD programs from the food and Agro-industries as well as the environmental and the medicinal chemistry areas.

The Department encourages high quality need-based or impact research at both undergraduate and post graduate levels and continues to produce around 2 publications per year. The Department in keeping with the University and the national vision strives to produce high quality graduates at higher degree level as well.
