School of Mechanical Engineering Guest Lecture 2: Ms. Julieth Jiap
The School of Mechanical Engineering have once again hosted its second guest lecture series for this year yesterday (26th of March 2024). SLT was packed to capacity by the mechanical engineering students from year 1 to 4 as well as some academic staff member of the school. Ms. Julieth Jiap is a Project Engineer, currently managing the Redevelopment of Lae Main Market (an AUSAID, ESIP project), as introduced by the Deputy Head of School Dr. Jack Khallahle, who was very pivotal in securing guest lecturers from the industrial sectors for the school this year. Ms. Jiap was speaking to the students on Project Management, an information session on the essential elements of project management a project engineer needed to know.
