Most of the current teaching staff have post graduate level qualifications at Masters and PhD levels from some of the recognized universities abroad. In line with the University’s Strategic Plan, the Department is recruiting at the Master’s level and up and aims to have all its current staff attain PhD degrees. Currently we have 4 lecturers undertaking PG studies, 3 of them at PhD level; 2 of which are in country whilst 1 in Australia and we have 2 on Master’s level. A number of the lecturers also have industrial experiences both from within the country and abroad which is important for experiential learning.
