School of Agriculture Lecturer Secures International Opportunity for Academic Growth

The School of Agriculture proudly acknowledges Ms. Betty Tiko-Motoro’s accomplishments through the Australia Awards PNG Linkage Support for PNG Women Academics. This prestigious grant enabled her to participate in the International Conference on Agricultural Software and Information Management in Sydney, which took place on April 10-11, 2024.

During her trip, Ms. Tiko-Motoro also met with her PhD supervisors, Dr. Eric Ng and Dr. Rumman Hassan, at the University of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba. This important meeting provided her with critical feedback to enhance her PhD proposal.

Ms. Tiko-Motoro’s involvement in these events underscores her commitment to her professional development and highlights our school’s support for faculty advancement. Her experiences have brought valuable perspectives and skills back to our community, positively impacting our educational and agricultural programs.
