School of Agriculture Members Participate in International Training on Agriculture Extension Technology

The School of Agriculture proudly highlights the participation of our lecturer, Ms. Betty Tiko-Motoro, and master’s student, Mr. Kayman Kiwa, in an international training program titled “Computer Applications in Agricultural Extension.” This event took place from November 1 to 14, 2023, at the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) in Hyderabad, India, supported by the International Training Programme of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

The program drew 28 participants from 12 countries, all aiming to enhance their use of technology in agriculture extension. Ms. Tiko-Motoro and Mr. Kiwa joined their international peers for interactive sessions where they exchanged ideas, learned new best practices, and participated in practical exercises. This experience not only expanded their knowledge but also helped them build lasting international relationships that will benefit future collaborative projects and innovations in agriculture.
